Membership

Llanelli Art Society continues to grow and evolve. It stands firmly by its founders’ commitment to encouraging the practice and appreciation of painting and sculpture in the town and local area. We have over 100 members, ranging from professional artists to beginners. Whatever your standard and experience, you will receive a warm welcome and encouragement.

The Society prides itself on being an inclusive community organisation that celebrates the diversity of its members.

By joining as a member, you will be able to: 

• Take part in Members-only exhibitions each year where you can exhibit your art and sell your work if you wish.
• Come to regular events where you can watch demonstrations by some of the best artists in Wales and learn different methods of creating art.
• Get information about courses, groups, workshops, and other events.
• Demonstrations are free to members and workshops are heavily discounted to members.
• Join us for social events and art trips.
• Receive money off at local cafes, shops and restaurants (our list of discounts is growing all the time please ask for details)
• Become part of our Members Facebook Group and promote your own work, share tips and experiences and meet other artists online.
• Showcase your work on our Members Gallery page with links to your Social Media.
• Use your skills and experience to volunteer, if you want to, and help us keep the Society running.

Membership fees

The Annual Membership fee is due on 1st April each year:

The annual membership fee is £25 per individual and £40 for joint membership ( two people living at the same address).

If you are joining the Society during 1st October 2025 – 31st March 2026 then membership is reduced to £12.50 for individual and £20 for joint memberships.
