Summer exhibition ENTRY FORM
Members may submit a maximum of three artworks. Only one painting may be submitted if of the maximum size. Maximum size 90 x 75cms ( 30 x 36 inches)
Please note that sales will be subject to a commission of 20% payable by the Society to Llanelli Library.

EXHIBITION ENTRY FEES
£5.00 per painting – For sale. £7.50 per painting Not for sale.
All fees are payable by cash, cheque, or BACS – upon submission of the Entry form, where you will find all payment details.
Please let us know if you are unable to collect your artworks at the end of the exhibition.

EXHIBITION RULES
1) A member may exhibit a maximum of three original artworks which must not contravene the exclusions detailed in the Exhibition Rules. A shortage of hanging space may result in large artworks being excluded.
2) The Hanging Fee per artwork is £5.00, if the artwork is “For sale” or £ 7.50 if “Not for sale”

3) All exhibits must be labelled and prepared for hanging as detailed below.
4) Artworks submitted for the exhibition will be inspected prior to acceptance. Any which fail to meet the hanging criteria detailed below may be rejected.
5) Llanelli Art Society members exhibiting are expected to steward the exhibition. A rota will be constructed on handing in day when you will be asked to commit to at least one 3-hour stewarding session.
6) Failure to comply with the Exhibition Rules may result in the rejection of your artwork(s)
7) All exhibitors should make themselves aware of the Copyright laws before exhibiting
8) Artwork produced at workshops will not be accepted
A hard copy of the Exhibition Rules can be obtained from the Exhibition Secretary.

LABELLING AND HANGING INSTRUCTIONS
Each artwork, whether in landscape or portrait format, must have picture screws or D rings attached to and positioned one-third of the way down the frame, not on the backing board, along with a strong hanging cord. This will ensure that the artwork is displayed correctly.
The following information must be on a label attached to a string long enough to extend above the painting when hung:
• Name and telephone number of the artist
• Title of the artwork
• Medium of the artwork
• Price or “Not for sale”
Artworks submitted for the exhibition will be inspected prior to acceptance. Any which fail to meet the hanging criteria detailed above may be rejected
