GLen King
Glenn King is an up and coming Welsh artist who initially specialised in portraiture. He has since explored other genres including Land and Seascapes, painting in a semi abstract form. Most of his paintings are completed without using a brush, but by using other tools, rags, hands, spatulas, pallet knives etc. Glenn uses most mediums although finds Acrylic a more suitable medium for his latest semi abstract art.
Having recently retired, Glenn is spending more time immersing himself in his passion for art and nature.
He is drawn to the beauty of our sea and landscapes, fortunate to live in a semi-rural location close to the sea in the village of Pembrey. Glenn likes to capture some of this beauty and the ever changing atmosphere of the sea and land in his semi abstract style of painting using a variety of mediums and tools. He enjoys getting immersed in the artwork, feeling the energy, sense and atmosphere of the places as he makes marks during the painting process. Most of his paintings are created in his art studio at home. Glenn also enjoys producing art with five fellow local artists on a regular basis, which helps inspire, motivate and enhance his artistic journey

Emily Bodden
Emily Bodden is a mixed media artist and a student of Art History and Visual Cultures, pursuing a career in art curation. She began her studies in multimedia art at Carmarthen School of Art, focusing on sculpture. Her early art featured a surrealist style with dark themes, reflecting her experiences growing up with chronic illness. After becoming a mother, Emily paused her artistic practice to focus on her health, which led to personal growth and a shift in her creative direction. Recently, she has returned to art, drawing inspiration from nature, growth, and life.

Ruth Jayne Lewis
Ruth specialises in watercolours and mixed media in various subjects and techniques. Painting mainly in landscapes and seascapes, she experiments with reactions of water and colour to attain the effects of light, shadow, texture and atmosphere. She paints en plein air with fellow artists and is a member of the UK Plein Air and participates in their Gower Paint Out Week.
She is a member of the Guild of Aviation Artists and has now been promoted to associate member this year.
